Welcome to the online diary for sisters Marissa and Camryn.
Enjoy your stay!
You are a little bookworm!
the pictures are so cute. she is getting so big my goodness they grow so quickly. she is a beautiful baby girl....
Hello again! I can't believe it's already February! Happy Groundhog's Day everyone! Marissa is going to be turning FIVE next week.
Where does the time go? It seems insane to me that she is going to be five. Marissa is having a
tinkerbell birthday party on saturday at my mom's house. She is very excited for her party and for her tinkerbell pinata!
Marissa has been doing great at preschool. She got her first "report card" today and she got "S" for everything (satisfactory). She'll be ready for kindergarten next year!
I just can't believe my baby is going to be in kindergarten!!! She said to me the other day "Mom... do they have gardens at kindergarten?" when I said no, but she might plant seeds there, etc... she said "Well, why is called kinder-GARDEN?" Lol. Then I was telling Marissa how I'm going to come to preschool with her next week for her Valentine's Day party because I'm the helper. She was thrilled I was going to stay all day and then she said "Mom...I'll show you my school and I'll tell everyone 'This is Kelly!'" Oh brother! I said "Hey, I'm your mom!" and she said "okay.... I'll say this is my mommy, but then I'm going to whisper 'her real name is Kelly!'" Hahaha...
Camryn is going to be 15 months old on the 8th. She is getting so big! We have her 15 month check-up next week and I'm curious to see how much she weighs! She's such a little peanut!
She has been saying alot more words and phrases lately. So far she says mama, dada, baba (bottle), papa, "go?", there, right there, "I did it", Ry-Ry (Ryan) and a couple times she said
duck and
apple. She is our little tornado... she is all over the place and it's so funny to see her just running along because she's so little!
Camryn loves Blues Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba and
Sesame Street... especially Elmo!
She also loves her books, and she knows which ones to get if you say "Camryn get your Elmo book, or get your Little Lamb book". She is too smart! She also knows some body parts, like eyes and hand and will point to them or hold her hand up.
The girls wore their Steelers shirts yesterday and we went to a superbowl party at my parent's house!
They both looked so cute in their Steelers gear! Marissa liked the 3-D commercials!
Marissa even had a superbowl party at preschool! The Steelers pictures are still on my camera but I'll upload them soon!
Here's some new pictures of the girlies:
The girls in their matching outfits (Marissa calls them their "Cheetah" shirts, haha) and the girls reading books in their rocking chair:

Camryn has also been trying to feed herself with a fork and spoon. She is Miss Independent! She does really good feeding herself oatmeal or applesauce with a spoon. For the fork, she wants me to put the food on the fork, and then set it on her tray for her to pick up herself! Oh brother! She's stubborn already!
Here's a couple photos of her feeding herself:

On a side note, My sister is due in April and we can't wait to meet Baby Marshall! The girls are excited for their new baby cousin.
Krissy's having her baby shower in early March. And then he'll be here before we know it!!
Well, that's about all for today! We'll post more soon!
